Highlights from the Menu

One must-try dish is the Fried Green Tomatoes—sliced, breaded, and fried to a golden perfection, served alongside a tangy homemade remoulade for that extra burst of flavor at just $7.50. For those seeking something heartwarming, the Corn & Potato Chowder offers a creamy balance of thick-cut potatoes and sweet corn for only $6.50, hitting all the right notes on a chilly day.

The entrees don’t disappoint either, featuring an array of options like the Southern burger, which Jessica Hollomon praised for its savory goodness, despite her fries lacking freshness. Overall, the meal quality shines, much like the reviews shared by Don Bernal and others, who laud the cafe as a perfect respite from the thrilling rides outside.

A Sweet Ending

No meal at The Front Porch Cafe is complete without indulging in one of their decadent desserts. The Eggnog Cheesecake is a must-try for its rich creaminess, enhanced by crushed ginger snaps that elevate this winter favorite to new heights at just $8.00. Another treat to consider is the Peppermint Chocolate Molten Lava Cake, which promises to delight your taste buds with its irresistible gooey center.

Guests often rave about the reasonable prices compared to other amusement park options, making it a no-brainer for families. As Katie M pointed out, a hearty meal for five only set her party back $85, showcasing value without skimping on flavor.

We stopped in to eat lunch while enjoying Opening Day 2023 at Dollywood. The restaurant is so pretty, and very clean. Our server promptly greeted us, and our food arrived quickly. I ordered the Southern burger, which was very good. The fries seemed to have been sitting around for a while, but if they had been fresh, this meal would have been a 10. I would definitely visit here again, and probably order this same burger.

A nice sit down restaurant as a respite from the excitement of Dollywood. Delicious entrees and fun decor. Gets busy lunch onwards, so take advantage if you're hungry early.

Great upscale comfort food restaurant inside of Dollywood. Fried green tomatoes and cheese actually a very clever caprese salad. Large portions, friendly staff. Bright and airy atmosphere

We really enjoyed the food here. The butterfly chicken club was delicious. It was a little awkward and messy to eat but really good. The burgers were also good. The sandwiches came with either fries, chips, or a salad. The prices here (and throughout the park) were very reasonable compared to other amusement parks. It was around $85 for 3 adult meals and 2 kids meals. In terms of the wait time, we came around 1:30 and were told it would be 30 to 45 mins for a party of 5, but it only ended up being about 20 mins. We would definitely eat here again.

This restaurant has us drooling even 24 hours later. We ordered a shrimp andoullie and cheesy grits , a very hearty pulled pork stew fried cauliflour and chicken fingers. To start you check in at the front and we were told 20 minute wait but it ended up being maybe 5. We were sat and we perused the menu. The oddest thing was they were out of the fish and no vegan dogs.

The picture on the menu should be southerner burger but not smoked port belly sandwich. The picture lead me ordered the wrong item. The Shrimp grits is the best I’ve ever had. Fried pork loin ( assume it was pulled pork but came out to be fired, did not read menu carefully enough) is very tender. Southerner burger essentially is a combo of the fried tomato appetizer and pork belly sandwich. With gold pass it’s 15% off and the price is very reasonable. We ate there the first day we at Dollywood and the second we decide to came back :)
